Quick. Before Jake notices the Sun Araw picture is colliding with the sidebar, I’m going to post this Lamps record released by In The Red a few years ago. I love it. (I seem to love a lot of things posted on here recently. I assume that’s the point, but I can never be certain.)
This is a harder post-punk than what you’re used to. How do I know? Well, clearly you aren’t used to this because I said so. Lamps are full of distortion, feedback, grit/grime, and some really catchy tunes/angry yelps. If King Kong were smaller and could fit in a lamp store he might gently destroy it and the music he made would fill the minds of gutter punks from sea to shining sea.
